The court is back in session for the ruling on whether Hopewell was brought before or after 48 hrs had expired. It will be interesting to see how the Magistrate wriggles out of this one. The state is in a tight spot! We await the arrival of the Magistrate!

Magistrate arrives and reads out the judgement! The accused was brought in time before the expiry of 48 hrs. She states that the accused was brought to court at 1645 when court processes were started and so well within the time limit permissible by law. Thus the application is dismissed..1544hrs
The state reads out the charges against the accused. And basically its obstructing the course of justice
Chin’ono has been remanded in custody for a formal bail application.
