Sikhala denied bail, remanded to February 19
MDC legislator Job Sikhala granted bail
MDC A Vice Chairman Job Sikhala has been denied bail. He has been reminded in prison to 19 February for trial.
Delivering his bail application ruling, presiding Magistrate Ngoni Nduna said Sikhala had a tendency of repetitively committing crime. Nduna also told the courts that Sikhala boasted about his record of 65 arrests.
Meanwhile the MDC A Spokeswoman Fadzai Mahere was also remanded in custody by magistrate Utahwashe who dismissed her submissions for refusal to be placed on remand. Mahere stands accused of inciting public violence and intending to promote public disorder by undermining public confidence in a law enforcement agency
