The late  Zimdancehall artist, Soul Jah Love’s manager, Tendai Marara has revealed that the star foretold his death sometime in December last year.

New Zimbabwe reports that Marara said Soul Jah Love called him on the 17th of December last year when he had his show in South Africa.

“I missed his calls and when I called back, he said he needed to talk.

“He then said to me ‘I want to bid farewell to my family and friends because I dreamt that I had died and I (Marara) was present at the funeral’.

Marara says Soul Jah Love had been admitted at a hospital in South Africa and was on a drip at that time.

Marara said he told him his condition would improve but he dismissed this and said ‘it will improve in heaven.’

The publication also reports that the late musician’s older brother, Tendai Mike Brighton Musaka said the Mbare born artiste’s track, ‘Kana Ndafa’ released in 2019 had worried him as it appeared that he was foretelling his passing.

“When I listened to the song ‘Kana Ndafa’, I got worried and I asked him what he was trying to communicate. I tried to rub the thought out of his head but we didn’t know this was coming.”

Soul Jah Love died aged 31 on Tuesday upon arrival at Mbuya Dorcas Hospital in Harare.

A post-mortem is yet to reveal the cause of his death.

iHarare had also reported that Nash TV’s efforts to pay homage to the late Zimdancehall musician Soul Jah Love on Wednesday did not go as planned for the social media-based television channel following an embarrassing auto-translation.

The channel inadvertently committed a faux pas when its laudatory post was translated by Facebook to read, “Go To Hell.”
