Violent Maths teacher sentenced to 630 hours of community service

TALENT Chingwaru aged 29, a part-time Mathematics teacher at Einstein Tuition Center in Harare, has been slapped with a 3 year prison term following his conviction of assault.
He will however perform 630 hours of community service after Harare magistrate Ms Judith Taruvinga suspended 18 months of his 36 month sentence for five years on condition of good behaviour and the other 18 months were suspended on condition he performs community service.
Chingwaru assaulted a Lower Sixth student at Einstein Tuition Center after the two had a heated argument.
