Kwekwe MP, Blackman dies

Kwekwe Central MP, Masango Matambanadzo who was affectionately known as Blackman has died.
This was confirmed by his aide, Angela Nyathi who said the legislator succumbed to illness at his Amaveni home in Kwekwe. Blackman has been battling an undisclosed illness for a long time. He was airlifted to China in December last year for a medical emergency due to suspected food poisoning.
A popular figure in Kwekwe, Matambanadzo is the only MP to have won national elections on the National Patriotic Front (NPF) ticket after beating both the opposition MDC-T and the ruling Zanu-PF party candidates in the 2018 harmonised elections.
