Video: Zim lawyers protest against the State’s disrespect of the Constitution
Zimbabwe lawyers staged a peaceful demonstration at the High Court demanding respect for the constitution, freedoms of assembly, expression and the media. The protest came on a day detained Citizen Movement leaders, Hon. Job Wiwa Sikhala, Journalist Hopewell Chin’ono and Leader of Transform Zimbabwe were appearing in court for their bail application judgements. Ngarivhume has since been given a $50000 bail while Sikhala and Chin’ono are still waiting for their judgements.
