Rimo looting Ginimbi’s debts without family consent

Tinotenda ‘Rimo’ Marimo has allegedly turned himself into rogue debt collector, hunting down debts owed to the late socialite Genius ‘Ginimbi’ Kadungure without permission from the family of the deceased.

An anonymous source who spoke to Zim Morning Post said Tinotenda who is popularly known as Rimo Jackson has off late been collecting most of Ginimbi’s undocumented debts.

Rimo was always with Ginimbi so he was privy to most transactions and knows who owes what and how much. So he is chasing those debts and pocketing,
Standard procedure is he should surrender to the family or executor, said the source.

It is alleged that sometime last week Dj Rimo pounced on a Sports Club in Mt Pleasant where Ginimbi had paid US$600 as a deposit to rent and run a restaurant at the club.

Rimo came through when we were having lunch. He was in a no-nonsense mood and he had a quick chat with the manager and left. We then asked the manager why Rimo was in such a rush and that’s when we learnt he had come for Genius’ money, said a patron at the club.

The late Ginimbi then in the company of Rimo reached an agreement with the management of the Sports Club to run the joint and then paid US$600 as a deposit.

The manager at the joint could neither confirm nor deny the development citing client confidentiality. While Rimo refused to give a comment on the matter.
