Jeka Bridge of Mberengwa collapses
According to the ZBC News, a bridge that was linking Mberengwa North and Mberengwa West Jeka Bridge reportedly collapsed.
The collapse of the bridge which the publication said was a temporary structure has reportedly cut off Mberengwa North from Mberengwa West.
The district’s major bridge is located 103 kilometers from Zvishavane and is a stone throw away from Chegato High School. The collapsed Bridge also cut off Mberengwa residents from Jeka Hospital, a referral medical institution.
Zimbabwe has received incessant rains over the last few weeks, which has also caused flooding in some areas.
