Mliswa hits back at enstranged lover Susan Mutami
Outspoken Norton legislator Temba Mliswa has finally responded to the damning allegations made against him by his estranged lover Susan Vivian Mutami. Mutami was involved in a 3-month relationship with the MP and claims to be pregnant with twins.
After spectacularly falling out with Mliswa, Mutami has made a series of sensational allegations about Mliswa, most of which relate to his alleged unconventional bedroom predilections. The health care professional accused her estranged lover of failing to provide for his 18 children and alleged that Mliswa survives by extorting people.
When making the allegations, Mutami claimed that she was fighting back against the MP, whom she accused of orchestrating a smear campaign against her.
Responding to an article published by the Zim Morning Post, Mliswa was uncharacteristically reserved in his response. Mliswa who has a reputation of not pulling his punches chose to take the high road and did not respond to the specific allegations raised against him. He claimed that Mutami was a “project” who was unable to continue paying rent at his flat in Avondale.
Writing on social media platform Twitter, Mliswa said,
“All I can say about this very entertaining&sensational article about me is that Susan is a project who couldn’t continue paying rent at my apartment in Avondale and so left. She, unfortunately, has the habit of name dropping to achieve her ends.
“Next time she should advise her handlers to strategise better and punch harder as the gay slur was a weak blow which couldn’t be further from the truth. I can only warn any other would-be victims against her; beware!!
“I could say and show more, but I’ll leave it at that as one day people will know who she is……

Mliswa also took potshots at Elias Mambo, the editor of the Zim Morning Post for publishing the article.
Elias Mambo, Zim Morning Post, this one-sided account is unbecoming of someone I had held in greater stead; the epitome of poor journalism. What is the motive, what is the agenda, whose payroll are you on? Very sad. Anyway, it’s water under the bridge, we move on…
