Penhalonga Man kills teenager boy over radio noise
A 24-year-old man from Penhalonga reportedly killed his foster brother using an axe following a misunderstanding over loud music.
Solomon Mafondokoto allegedly killed 17 year old Maxwell Mangoma accusing him of irritating him with loud music.
ZBC reported that Mafondokoto appeared in court facing murder charges.
The state alleges that on 10 May this year, Mafondokoto who was at home with Mangoma used an axe to chop off the teenager’s head before throwing it in a Blair toilet at their homestead.
The court heard that Mafondokoto went on to cut off the deceased’s manhood before dumping the body in a nearby stream.
Mafondokoto allegedly confessed the heinous crime to his father after his mother had come across mysterious blood stains at their home.
Mutare magistrate Prisca Manhibi who presided over the matter remanded Mafondokoto until 26 May before advising him to apply for bail at the High Court.
In other news, iHarare also reported that a fight over a cigarette stub ended in tragedy after a 26-year-old Kwekwe man succumbed to injuries he sustained fighting a 16-year-old boy.
Rueben Mukwaturi died following a fight with the teenager over a cigarette butt which the latter had thrown onto the ground.

The trio reportedly assaulted Precious Siziba (23) from Filabusi on Sunday at around 4 PM. He died the following day at around 6 AM while he was admitted at Gwanda Provincial Hospital.
