Chirumanzu man stabs to death a Mwenezi chap over women
A man from Chirumanzu allegedly stabbed and killed a Mwenezi man on Sunday who had accused him of coming all the way from the Midlands to take local women.
Takudzwa Mamboma (34) of Mutinhima Village, Chief Nhema is facing murder charges for stabbing Hardlife Sibanda on the neck leading to his death.
Two Nations is reliably informed that Mamboma who had visited his sister in Mwenezi had some misunderstandings with the now deceased and his other colleagues who accused him of coming from Chirumanzu to flirt with local women.
At Village 5, Flora, Maranda the accused was manhandled by Sibanda as he sat at Collet Gonde tuck shop where he was drinking beer.
The two had an altercation and accused fled from the scene.
The now deceased chased Mamboma until he was tired. Mamboma stopped and produced a knife which he used to stab Sibanda once on the neck.
The matter was reported to the Police who recovered the used knife from the scene of crime.
Local Residence Magistrate Honesty Musiiwa on Wednesday advised the accused to seek bail at the High Court. -Masvingo Mirror
