Gokwe man stung by bees while bedding married woman
A man from Gokwe under Chief Nemangwe was reportedly attacked by a swarm of bees while having sexual intercourse with a married woman in a case villagers suspect was an act of juju.
Reports claim Jethro Maimba from Kwaramba Village under Chief Nemangwe was stung while having sex with a married woman, Lizzie Maphosa, in the bush.
Maimba had been warned by Maphosa’s husband Joseph Musariri several times to stop the illicit affair, villagers further claimed.
It is suspected that Maphosa’s husband decided to cast a spell on his wife after he discovered that she was cheating on him with Maimba. A villager speaking on condition of anonymity said:
Maimba was stung by bees all over his body while having sex with Musariri’s wife. He tried to run away but the bees just followed and kept stinging him. They were really aggressive.
We suspected that the stinging was a result of juju after some of the bees were left covering his private parts for about two days.
The bees only disappeared after Maimba asked for forgiveness from Musariri. This was also after he had promised to pay him two beasts.
The two, however, agreed to later approach Chief Nemangwe’s traditional court so that they can solve their issue amicably.
Contacted for comment, Chief Nemangwe could neither confirm nor deny the shocking incident. He said:
The matter has not yet been brought to my attention. Maybe the parties decided to solve it on their own.
Matters of that nature are usually brought to my attention after the parties would have failed to agree on any terms or conditions.
