COMEDIENNE Madam Boss yesterday laughed off rumours about her preg_nancy by claiming she made the announcement to tease her fans.
The entertainer, whose real name is Tarisai Chikocho, sent social media abuzz when she flaunted what appeared to be a baby bump, in a body-revealing dress. Contacted for comment, Fanwell Masungure, who answered Madam Boss’s phone and claimed to be an assistant to the entertainer, said:
“It’s not true that Madam Boss is preg_nant, it’s all rumours circulating on social media.”
However, Masungure conceded it was difficult to stop people from speculating in this era of social media.
“People are capable of making up stories any time they feel like doing so.
“As a team, we can’t stop it because that’s the reality of the social media industry,” said Masungure.
