Khupe lands foot in CCC

The politically homeless Thokozani Khupe has started the process of salvaging her political career by singing from the CCC hymn book.
Khupe who defines herself as the President of MDC-T shockingly addressed a press conference in Bulawayo donning Nelson Chamisa’s yellow outfit.
Khupe sang like a canary as she spew accolades for Chamisa and his new political outfit, CCC.
A crowd of singing yellow activists gave Khupe a hero’s welcome when she arrived at Mzilikazi to tell journalists that she shall be voting for CCC candidates in the next by-elections which she caused by recalling elected MPs and councillors.
Khupe fell short of declaring herself a CCC member as was speculated. Her intention to join Chamisa is being resisted by the CCC leadership who view Khupe as a political prostitute who could not be trusted again.
Khupe briefly flirted with Zanu PF’s Emmerson Mnangagwa before she was dumbed after being defeated by Douglas Mwonzora in a race to replace the late Morgan Tsvangirai. Khupe who was Mwonzora’s deputy until recently, today made a public display of her affection for the CCC.
She continued: ”…so let us all rally behind President Advocate Nelson Chamisa, as we prepare for 2023 election as it is going to be a defining moment for every citizen in this country. I thank you.”
Zimbabwe is holding by-elections on 26 March to fill in vacancies which were created by Khupe’s recalling of MPs and Councillors.
