Harare – Chaos erupted at ZANU PF’s headquarters when party staff reportedly chased away Zimbabwe’s Justice Minister, Ziyambi Ziyambi, following the abrupt cancellation of a press conference.

The event was meant to announce the expulsion of Tafadzwa Geza, the party’s legal affairs director.

According to sources within the ruling party, tensions had been rising over Geza’s fate, with some senior members opposing his removal. However, a faction within ZANU PF leadership had reportedly decided to expel him, accusing him of misconduct.

The press briefing was scheduled to formalise this decision. When Minister Ziyambi arrived at the party headquarters, he was met with resistance from staff members who were reportedly angered by the situation.
