Gun Toting Zanu PF MP ‘Soul Ncube’ in Abuse Storm

A crazed Zanu PF MP was photographed with a gun stepping on a woman’s breast.

Soul Ncube, the MP for Matobo South, shared the image with his constituents via a WhatsApp group.

In an audio clip that accompanied the image, he claimed the woman was a passenger in his stolen Honda Fit.

In the audio, Ncube says, “The car is fine, community.” “The driver was not the one who stole the car. It’s just a shame we didn’t catch him, the one who was driving. He bolted.

“The one who stole the car apparently remained at Malaba and said he was going somewhere. We heard this from this woman.”

Ncube claimed the woman in the picture had tried to also flee but they caught up with her.

“She says she doesn’t know these people, she only hired a car to St Joseph’s Mission because she wants to go to South Africa. We’re now going to St Joseph’s to verify her story.”

It was unclear when the incident took place.

A lawyer who saw the photo said the MP was plainly breaking the law and should face criminal charges.

“There is clear evidence of two offences: assault under the criminal code and guns act violations.” I’m afraid the MP has shown to be an outlaw. “When the woman is forcibly dragged into the MP’s vehicle and driven to St Joseph’s Mission, there is the possibility of another accusation of wrongful imprisonment,” the lawyer stated.

“He has subdued the lady who is laying down and is pointing a gun at her.” Assault occurs when you threaten to injure another person with gestures or words with the intent of instilling in their minds a reasonable fear that you will harm them or that harm is impending.

“There is no provision in the legislation that enables anyone, including an MP, to go around with a handgun.” The use of a handgun in self-defense is normally justified, but in this case, the MP is attacking a defenceless woman who has seemingly committed no crime. It’s pointless, and it’s not in self-defense. It would be illegal under the law.

“Even if she took the automobile, what is he attempting to accomplish?” He’s already punishing her, which is another way of saying he’s taking the law into his own hands. It is up to the police to look into this occurrence.”

Ncube did not respond.
