Emmerson Mnangagwa’s corned regime is getting more lethal as the protest date nears in an effort to frighten protesters.

MDC Alliance Youth Assembly National Executive member from Bulawayo Takunda Madzana is battling for life after a night of horror  at the hands of state agents ahead of 31 July protests. “Madzana was abducted at his home by a group of unknown assailants who gruesomely fractured his body parts before dumping him in the bush,” announced the MDC A youth spokesman Stephen Sarkozy Chuma.
Madzana, a member of the national youth executive of MDC is alleged to have been subjected to intense inhuman treatment and torture by state agents.
“He was forced to take off all his clothes before being thrown into a dam.
The torture executors then went on to use an electric shocker on his body including private parts in a bid to force Madzana to divulge information as to who was making #ZANU PF Must Go masks,” said Chuma in a follow up statement.
Chuma also revealed that his abductors attempted to inject him with an unknown substance.
“As we have said in our last statement, it is high time we fight fire by fire especially on abductions. The regime has failed us as citizens, hence it’s time we take the initiative to protect ourselves,” warned Chuma. Emmerson Mnangagwa’s regime has escalated abductions, arrests and torture of citizens since taking over power  through a coup in 2017. “As an Assembly, we would like to make it clear that we are not going to be intimidated from speaking against corruption and its drivers,” vowed the tough talking Chuma.

Scores of MDC A leaders and members are detained in various police cells dotted around Zimbabwe as the government tries to put a stop to the people’s determination to confront it on 31 July. One of the organisers of the march Jacob Ngarivhume will be in detention until 7 August after being denied bail last week. An award winning journalist Hopewell Chin’ono is only under lock and key over flimsy charges of inciting citizens to overthrow the government. He was also denied bail which shall be considered only after the protest date.
