Mutsvangwa dismisses Chamisa as a delusional daydreaming dictator
Zanu PF spokesman says CCC leader was scared of 2023 elections
The ruling Zanu PF party spokesman Christopher Mutsvangwa has slammed opposition Citizens Coalition for Change (CCC) leader Nelson Chamisa for being “delusional” and “daydreaming” after he claimed that President Emmerson Mnangagwa was employing “ugly” tricks to avoid the upcoming 2023 election.
On Thursday, the opposition leader posted on his Twitter handle that he was informed that the Zanu-PF leader was now afraid of the election and he was instituting measures to avoid the upcoming plebiscite.
“I’m reliably informed that Mukoma is now so scared of the election. And he will try all means, foul and ugly, to avoid the 2023 election. But then, one can’t postpone Christmas simply because they are on the dinner menu.
“A turkey can’t be trusted for advice on the timing of Christmas,” Chamisa said.
In an interview with Nehanda Radio over the issue, Zanu-PF spokesperson Christopher Mutsvangwa accused Chamisa of being afraid of the pending election.
He further slammed the opposition leader for being a dictator in his own party.
“Delusional daydreaming. Actually CCC Chamisa is transposing his phobias to hoodwink and grandstand as he hides his anxieties and fears.
“In the first instance he dreads elections, structures, and congresses the standard internal processes of his own party. He equally imposes candidates in brazen avoidance of internal democratic processes.
“Charity begins at home. Otherwise he is himself the thief crying out ‘thief, thief’.
“On the other hand, Zanu-PF has been fervently preparing for the 2023 Harmonized Elections. It has gone through all paces as a Party.
“Its leader, H.E. President Emmerson Dambudzo Mnangagwa has been on a demanding agenda selling himself to the electorate across the land.
“He is clearly geared and is in full election mode. Contrary to a wincing, whining and hectoring Chamisa of nondescript CCC party,” Mutsvangwa told Nehanda Radio
