Neglect is collapsing Zimbabwe’s busiest tollgate
A tollgate at West Nicholson
This is a dilapidated tollgate at West Nicholson, one of the biggest cash cows of the Zimbabwe government.
The tollgate is along Beit Bridge-Bulawayo road which experiences huge traffic volumes netting the government thousands of Rands everyday.
Ironically the tollgate is being allowed to collapse as the government concentrates on raking in money at he expense of maintaining the facility.
The steel and zinc sheets tollgate which can give way to wind at anytime is posing a danger to motorists.
