In a humiliating development, the headmistress at Kumalo Primary School found herself wishing for the ground to swallow her after she allegedly shared her nude picture on social media.
Stella Mhlanga is alleged to have accidentally posted a picture of her shaved privates on her WhatsApp status.
After realizing this mishap Mhlanga is alleged to have quickly deleted the picture from her WhatsApp status.
However, it was a bit late as social media police who had already downloaded it using WhatsApp GB and taken screenshots before starting to circulate it widely on social media
Mhlanga made a passionate apology to those who saw the inappropriate image on her WhatsApp status saying that it’s not her character to post such kind of images.
“Good evening, sorry for what was posted on the status, someone had borrowed my phone. My sincere apologies people. It’s not my character and I don’t post such in my status. Please delete,” reads the impassioned apology.
In an almost similar development, iHarare reported that a 23-YEAR-OLD Bulawayo woman was arrested for allegedly sending Pornographic material to a WhatsApp group.
Naomi Dube’s arrest comes after the police received a tip-off that a number of her nude pictures were seen on a local Hotel’s WhatsApp group
A follow-up was made and it was established that the accused person intentionally took the nude pictures and sent them to the WhatsApp group.
During the investigation, Dube indicated that she took the nude pictures. The police also established that Dube’s Itel S16 cellphone had pornographic videos and nude photos.
Dube appeared before Bulawayo magistrate Marrygold Ndlovu on Friday facing charges of Cyber-crime.
In Zimbabwe, taking, posting, and sharing of nude pictures is considered a serious criminal offense that can attract community service, fine and imprisonment.
