Roki smashes own record after “Patati Patata” song reaches two million milestone in one day
Man of the moment Rockford ‘Roki’ Josphats’ has just broken his own record after the recently released music video “Patati Patata” hit 2 million views in just one day
Roki smashed his own YouTube record of 1,2 million views which he achieved with another hit song “Uchandifunga”.

The much-anticipated song was recorded under Passion Java Records, a company owned by Prophet Passion Java, and it featured the legendary Congolese soukous singer, Koffi Olomide, and Tanzanian BET award winner, Rayvanny.
Despite what others deemed ‘controversial lyrics’, Roki is riding high and conquering Africa at the same time with this new music video.
Jerusalema Hitmaker, Master KG, and Tanzanian musician, Diamond Platnumz amongst other local artists have since endorsed Roki’s new track while it was also premiered on Trace Africa, on the same day it was released
After a long sabbatical from the microphone during which many had already written his music career as done and dusted, it seems the 35-year-old music legend is back to conquer the music scene just as the old days.
Meanwhile, Prophet Passion Java who initiated the collaboration between the three music giants hinted that there were going to be more collaborations involving Roki and other international artists.
