Mashava gold panners blow up 40 homes with dynamites
Uncontrolled mining activities has rendered more than 40 families homeless in Mashava outside Masvingo town.
Gold panners scavenging for alluvial gold at Lennox Mine blasted dynamites which left homes desolete.
The ward councillor in the area, Tawanda Dube has condemned the the unscrupulous miners who he accused of putting into danger the lives of residents.
“Residents in the area are on calling authorities to stop the blasts which they say pose danger to their lives,” said Dube.
