Foster Dongozi died of inhaling wet paint, not Covid 19: Report

Report: Foster Dongozi was not killed by Covid-19. His demise came a few days after he had attended a training workshop in Gweru. It’s now a year after the media industry was robbed of one of its experienced and prominent scribe, Foster Dongozi who reportedly died of Covid 19 complications.

While Foster continues to rest in peace, what claimed his life continues to be a mystery and recently his close family members opened up and narrated a sad ordeal that likely took the prolific writer’s life.

While the state-controlled paper went to town claiming that Foster had heart failure, those claims later proved to be inaccurate.

On the other hand, while the medical reports also sold the nation a dummy by claiming that the Dongozi succumbed to Covid 19, again this was not true. Information obtained indicate that Dongozi died from inhaling wet paint at a local hotel as he was allergic to such.

“My uncle started having breathing problems after the hotel staff painted a wet paint which he was allergic to at Fairmile hotel in Gweru. He even told them that they have killed him as he started having breathing problems and he was driven back to Harare where he died after 48 hrs.

The state paper claimed it was heart failure while doctors said pneumonia and some said Covid,” said the uncle who declined to be named.

While all these theories won’t bring Foster back, it is however important for the public and more importantly the family to know the truth so as to bring closure to Foster’s demise.
