“The accused is not in good health as she is always seen with an aide. The accused is a first offender.

The accused will not cause harm to society. She deserves a second chance.

Community service for her won’t work because of her health,” said the magistrate:

Magistrate Lazini Ncube gave Marry the option to pay ZWL$60 000 or go to jail for six months.

Meanwhile, in other news, Marry Mubaiwa’s right hand is set to be amputated.

According to her lawyer, Beatrice Mtetwa, her right hand is set to be amputated due to severe sepsis and doctors have recommended an amputation above the elbow.
