Man demands lobola refund before he could remove runyoka from his cheating former wife
A man who recently confirmed that his wife was cheating on him through DNA tests, has demanded a full lobola refund from his in-laws. He stunningly claimed that he will not remove the “Runyoka” spell he placed on his erstwhile wife until he gets a full refund of every cent that he paid during lobola.
This rather unusual case which involves paternity fraud and casting spells on cheating spouses was revealed by radio and television personality Tilder Moyo-Karizamimba during one of her shows. According to Tilder, the man, whose identity will not be disclosed, initiated the paternity DNA tests after getting suspicious about his wife’s fidelity.
According to the man, he has been married for the last 5 years and the couple have a son who is four-yers-old. He went on to say that he is not formally employed and sometimes works as an artisanal miner. This involves him being away from home from time to time.
Whenever he would return home, neighbours and friends would hint that his wife was being unfaithful in his absence. At first, he initially dismissed the rumours thinking that people were being cynical and unduly suspicious.
However, upon further reflection, he realised that things were not adding up. He claimed that whenever he returned home, his wife would give him a lukewarm if not outright cold reception. He also noted that she showed great reluctance in being intimate with him, even after he had spent weeks away from home.
When he shared this with some of his friends, he revealed that one of them took him to a traditional healer where he was given the Runyoka spell. He revealed that his wife activated the Runyoka spell when she unwittingly closed the Okapi knife he had been given by the traditional healer.
It appears that his wife did not engage in any adulterous shenanigans after he got the Runyoka spell. However, he was still not satisfied about the paternity of the child. He finally resolved to have paternity tests carried out and he approached Tilder Moyo to have the DNA tests carried out by Expedite DNA Zimbabwe.
The DNA results were announced on Tilder Moyo’s show, to the couple who were on the phone. When it was announced that the man was not the father of the couple’s son, he said that he was not surprised by the outcome.
He went on to say that he wanted a full lobola refund from his in-laws. He declared that he would not free her from the Runyoka spell unless her relatives returned everything that he paid during lobola. Tilder highlighted that this means that his wife, will not be able to get married unless the Runyoka spell is removed. The distraught man dared his wife to get into another relationship at her peril if she does not believe in Runyoka.
During the entire show, the wife refused to entertain Tilder Moyo. She did not say anything after the results were announced. However, in a follow-up interview the next day, the cheated man revealed that he had woken up to find her gone. She got up early, packed all her stuff and left with her child before her husband woke up.
During this interview, he revealed that he was on his way to collect the physical copy of the DNA results so that he could approach his in-laws to demand his lobola refund.
He insisted that he is not backing down from his threats about not freeing his former wife from the Runyoka spell until he gets his lobola refund in full.
