Murder suspects accused of killing CCC supporters released

Eleven of the 16 Zanu PF youths arrested for allegedly killing a CCC supporter at a rally addressed by opposition leader Nelson Chamisa in Kwekwe on Sunday have been released.
This was revealed by Zimbabwe Human Rights NGO in a twitter today.
ZimRights said police did not give reasons for releasing the 11 who are facing charges of murder and attempted murder.
The accused gate-crushed a CCC rally in Kwekwe and indiscriminately attacked attendees using spears, stones and machetes.
Police Spokesman Godwin Matanga did not respond to questions sent to him by Zimbabwe Observer.
