A Ximex mall dealer, David Kaseke, has appeared in court after telling state media that he was an agent for human toes trading. He dismissed the claims as a harmless joke saying he was drunk when the video was recorded. In the video, he claimed that the joining fee is US200 while toes cost between US$25 000 and US$75 000. He is now facing criminal nuisance charges.

It is alleged that:
On 26 May 2022 and at Ximex mall, David Kaseke unlawfully and intentionally recorded a video which was published on social media indicating to the public that he is an agent for people who buy human toes for USD 25 000 to USD30 000 for small toes and USD75 000-00 for the bigger toe.

The state says his conduct materially interfered with the comfort, convenience, and peace of the public as he had or mischievously raised a false alarm to the public.

The state alleges that the accused told an H-Metro photographer under camera that he was the agent of toes buyers and was charging USS200-00 for an agent fee.

The state says the accused acted unlawfully.
