Full list of HCC officials arrested over land scandals

Several Harare City Council officials have been arrested over the past several weeks on corruption allegations involving land deals.

Below is a list of arrested and suspended officials:

1. Harare Mayor Herbert Gomba, arrested.
2. Councilor Lovemore Makuwere, arrested
3. Councilor Costa Mande, arrested
4. Councilor Hammy Madzingira, arrested
5. Councilor Tonderai Chakeredza, arrested
6. Councilor Anthony Shingadeya, arrested
7. Town Clerk Hosiah Chisango, arrested
8. Director of Works Zvenyika Chawatama, arrested.
9. Director Housing Addmore Nhekairo, arrested.
10. Human Resources Director Matthew Marara, arrested
11. Principal Housing Director Edgar Dzehonye, arrested.
12. Aaron Tayerera, Acting chief clerical officer, arrested.
13. City town planner Samuel Nyabeze arrested
14. Surveyor Munyaradzi Bhowa, arrested
15. Charles Sigauke, senior clerical officer, Wanted.
16. City valuer and estate manager Emmanuel Mutambirwa, arrested.
17. Warren Park district officer Tutsi Kanonjerea, arrested
